Hello Muhammad,

When you register online for CISSP exam, as a part of Application requirements you need to fill up details like Education (College, Degree, Date degree granted) then a drop down menu which has list of certifications called (ISC)2 approved certification list. You need to select your certification for which you are claiming a waiver.

In Short, You need to have a certification in hand before you claim a waiver. Request you to contact (ISC)2 personally & clarify the same again.

My best wishes & greetings of holy Ramzan month.

Regards,
Prakash

Hi All,

As it is stated on the CISSP web site that candidate with an approved certification can get one year waiver. Is it possible to get the one of those certifications after passing the CISSP exam but before sending the endorsement or we can only claim waiver if we have one of those cerification before taking CISSP exam.

Thanks a lot for sending me the repsonse.

Regards,

Muhammad
