[Cisspstudy] Answer conflic

This question was really leading you to the answer. It's telling you
the file has been patched a lot, so you know you want to pick a choice
that is patched. It also tells you it can't repair it without possible
damage, so that answer choice is out. Then the Research the virus to
see if it is benign is an absurd distracter hopefully no one would ever
pick, lol.

Really, this would be your first choice if it was that easy. Now, IRL
that may not be so easy. You might HAVE to go back and re-patch, but
that's more of a last-choice than a first choice.

Thanks,
Brandon

Right and true but how can you be 100% sure that your version on backup
media is not also infected?

It would seem to me that your only option would be to go back to the
original media and re-patch it.

Thoughts?

Well, I'm not sure which one you picked and which one was supposed to be
correct, but it should be:

"Restore an uninfected version of the patched file from backup media."

The reason I would refrain from picking "Replace the file with the
original version from master media" suggests the file is NOT patched,
but an "original" version. Also, "master media" might also be a
reference to something like a an OS CD, and not the most recent patched
but uninfected backup.

Thanks,
Brandon

Take a look at the question below ...

A Logical Security (Shon Harris) product indicates that correct solution
is the answer I selected (first one not the highlighted green one).

Can I get people's opinions on the correct choice?

Thank you,
