I got an email to my surprise that I passed the testing portion of the CISSP. I want to thank everyone for their input on studying and CCCure for the great study aids. I also let you all know I went out and purchased the Yellow Brick (Official (ISC)2 Guide to the CBK). Two weeks prior and read the book twice. It may be difficult to read but it did help considerably.
All total I used these materials to study and the last I do not endorse.

Hello every one.
Please can anyone tell me exact, how much time it takes to get your result, and is it going to be through email or post.
Regards.

Good day Jonus,
Do not make me say things I have not said my friend.
Anyone is more than welcome to write to ISC2, this is whey we pay 85$ a year.
The URL is:
http://www.cccure.org/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=592
On that page you will find all their contact info.
The more people write to them the better it is.
Thanks
Clement

Clement,
Why can you send stuff to ICS2. We should be able to send stuff to a place for help.

WOW,
IT seems they are at least listening to what the community has to say which is great in one way.
New Horizon are a monster organization with office worldwide. They have LOTS of different instructors, from stellar one to others I would never hire.
If you look at the top story on my web site, you will see that ISC2 refuse to tell their clients who the instructor will be in their classroom. Myself I would simply refuse to pay $2500 for an instructor that I do not even know. You have the right to get the instructor of your choice and a great instructor is what will make a outstanding. You want someone who teaches the curriculum at least 5 times a year and who has been doing it for a few years.
Take care
Clement

I did and I want to let everyone know that within 4 hours of my post yesterday I got a phone call from New Horizons. I told the New Horizons person the class is a review class not a semester\study class. There is no way you can properly reveiw the 10 domains in 4.5 days of class unless you have been studying the material for at least 2-3 months. I also told them I would rather have recieved the Yellow Brick versus the Peason published Review book.
If you have not read the AIO book from Shon Harris your going to need to.

Has anyone take the 1 week course that New Horizon's offers? I'm scheduled to take it in early Feb and wonder if it too is worth the money? It is not a boot camp, but a 1 week class.

I second that, I took the boot camp in Colorado Springs and have been agonizing over the money I wasted. I have learned more from CCCure study guides and the Shon Harris book. The Official (ISC)2 review book is terrible I only found one item in the book I couldn't find in the Shon Harris book an it had to do with lighting. Last night I threw the ISC2 book away I was disgusted.

What is the address to ISC2? Users should complain about their books and their classes. I have taken twice their boot camps and felt that I have wasted my money.
