[Cisspstudy] Wire gauges and mesh sizes?

On page 457 of the All in One book by Shon Harris (4th edition), there is a
list stating that for extremely high security you would use 3/8 inch mesh
and 11 gauge wire, but for normal industrial security only 2 inch mesh and 9
gauge wire is used.

Why wouldn't we use 3/8 inch mesh and 6 gauge wire for extremely high
security? My thinking is ... smaller mesh, thicker wire
