[CCCure CISSP] CISSPstudy Digest, Vol 21, Issue 7

All, I'm answering the question about my scoring on the CCCure sample
questions. I took the CCCure Quiz questions after taking the easier more
factual questions on the Shon Harris CD and scored around 80% the first
time I saw the questions. I also used the CISSP Exam Cram Sample questions
by Micheal Greg. I think by exam time, I must have taken around 2000
sample questions. Overkill? Perhaps, but the different ways of looking at
the material helped me master it, especially in the areas that I didn't
have much practical experience. Hope this helps.

Is this possibly a trick question?
What are the core principles of InfoSec? The CIA triad.
CIA as in Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability.
NOT as in Authenticity.

It is a bad question as I have mentioned.
They are asking you mainly which of the following is not in the CIA.
Authenticity is NO within the CIA but is achieved through crypto.
Authenticity as mentioned can be achieve with MAC (Message Authenticaiton
Code) if you make use of Symmetric encyrption and it can be achive using
Digital Signature if you make use of public key crypto.
Take care
